A straight desk is the most understated and keeps the office open. An L-shaped desk adds a side return for the computer or phone and frees up the front for receiving visitors. A peninsula, an extension attached to the desk, lets you meet with one or two people without leaving your seat. The choice depends on how often the person receives visitors and on the available space.

The most common layout places it facing the door, with the credenza or bookcase behind it and natural light from the side to avoid glare on the screen. In front, leave enough room for the guest chairs and for walking around. With your office measurements, we propose the layout in a rendering.

Wood and warm tones convey a more classic presence; light and gray tones, a more contemporary image. What matters is that the desk, credenza and bookcase share the same finish so the office looks like a set. In our showrooms you can see the finishes in person before deciding.

If the person meets often with two or three colleagues, yes: a small table inside the office avoids booking a room for every meeting. If visits are occasional, two chairs in front of the desk are enough and the space stays more open.

With cable grommets in the desktop, a tray under the surface that routes cables to the outlet, and a front modesty panel that hides legs and connections from the visitor's side. That keeps the desktop clean, which is part of the image you want at a leadership desk.
