The Desk Where Decisions Get Made.

Executive, managerial, and operational desks that combine presence, ergonomics, and storage. Designed and manufactured in-house for every level of your organization.

Real executive desk environment

Operational desks are work surfaces designed for high-use workstations, with space efficiency and a design consistent with the rest of the office. They are chosen according to the number of workstations and the layout of the work area. Línea Italia builds them to measure to outfit complete operational rows.

FAQs

What You Should Know About Operational Desks.

We answer the most common questions about the shape, layout, storage and ergonomics of operational workstations.

What is an operational desk? +

It is the desk for daily, high-use workstations: administration, sales, support or customer service. It prioritizes a functional surface, durability under constant use and efficient use of space, so you can outfit many workstations with a design consistent with the rest of the office.

Straight or corner operational desk? +

A straight desk is arranged in rows and is the most efficient when there are many workstations, as in the Vasari line. A corner desk makes use of corners and gives each person more surface, which helps when working with paper and a computer at the same time; we offer it in the Italia line.

Can they be rearranged if the team grows or changes? +

Yes. Anzio inline operational desks are reconfigurable, and Vasari straight desks can be arranged in different layouts without losing space efficiency. That way you can add workstations or change the layout without replacing the furniture.

Which desktop works best for a high-use workstation? +

A desktop that resists scratches and knocks, is easy to clean and has protected edges, because it is the part that takes the most wear. It is also worth matching the finish to the rest of the office, so operational areas do not look like a lower category.

Individual pedestal or shared filing? +

If each person handles their own or confidential documents, a lockable pedestal under the desk is the most practical option. If the team consults the same files, a shared filing cabinet or bookcase at the end of the row saves space per workstation and keeps the information in one place.

Which chair goes best with an operational desk? +

An operational chair with seat height adjustment, a backrest with lumbar support and, ideally, adjustable armrests. As a reference, the person should rest their feet on the floor and have their elbows at desktop height. If the workstation is used across several shifts, the chair should adjust quickly to each user.
