FAQs
We answer the most common questions about tables for mid-size meeting rooms: sizes, shape and everyday use.
As a reference: for 4 people, a round table 1.10 to 1.20 m (43 to 47 in) in diameter or a rectangular one 1.40 to 1.60 m (4.5 to 5.25 ft) long; for 6, a rectangular table 1.80 to 2.40 m (6 to 8 ft) long, about 1.00 m (40 in) wide.
So chairs can pull back and people can move around, leave about 1.00 m (40 in) between the table edge and the wall. As a reference, a 1.80 × 1.00 m (6 × 3.3 ft) table needs a room of roughly 3.80 × 3.00 m (12.5 × 10 ft). If the room is smaller, a round or curved table makes better use of the space.
A round table puts everyone at the same distance and encourages conversation, ideal for 4 people. A rectangular table makes the most of elongated rooms and leaves a head of the table for whoever leads or presents. A curved table, like the one in the Aura line, softens the room and eases team conversation.
Place the table with one end facing the screen, so everyone stays within the camera frame without turning their back to it, and plan a connection box at the center of the top for power and data.
Yes. In offices with few meeting rooms, the same table works as a meeting point, a shared work surface or a place to receive clients. For that use, choose a finish that stands up to daily use and plan connectivity for laptops.
In this section you will find the Anzio conference table for 4, compact for small rooms; the Italia and Vasari tables for 6, for mid-size rooms and team meetings; and the curved Aura table for 6.
